Beatssounds (“we,” “us”) operates beatssounds.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect:

• Account data — email, display name, and password (stored securely by our auth provider when cloud sign-in is enabled).
• Uploads — beat files, titles, genres, prices, and notes you submit.
• Purchase data — name, email, and payment details processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
• Usage data — page views, referrer, browser type, device type, and session ID for analytics.
• Local data — beats and library items stored in your browser (IndexedDB / localStorage) when using local-only mode.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected data to:

• Operate the site and deliver purchased beat files.
• Authenticate users and manage private (My Stash) uploads.
• Process payments and prevent fraud.
• Measure site traffic and improve the experience.
• Respond to support and legal requests.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf:

• Netlify — site hosting and visitor analytics storage.
• Supabase — accounts, cloud storage, and database (when configured).
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Google Fonts — typography (may receive your IP address).

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser storage to remember your cart, purchased library, session ID for analytics, and sign-in state. You can clear this data through your browser settings, though some features may stop working.

5. Analytics

We log anonymous visit data (page path, referrer, device/browser, session ID) to understand how people use the Station. Admin analytics are password-protected and not shared publicly.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and purchase records as long as needed to operate the service and comply with law. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Contact us to make a request.

8. Children

Beatssounds is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
